Bellwether Selected for Attachment Audit
Southside Electric Cooperative (Southside), headquartered in Crewe, Virginia, has selected Bellwether Management Solutions (Bellwether) for their 2011 Pole Attachment Inspection Project. As part of the project Bellwether will survey Southside’s electric poles for joint use attachments, identify attachment ownership, identify NESC clearance violations, and provide GPS coordinates for poles with NESC violations if so requested by the attaching utility. The project is expected to begin by mid-May with a completion date prior to November 30, 2011.
Southside Electric Cooperative provides electric service to approximately 55,000 consumers in 18 counties of south central Virginia.
